Harvest 2019

Over 30mm fell on Friday afternoon, river bank full, dried well in the sun and wind yesterday then more rain fell overnight, blowing again now but it’s got some drying to do now! Some forecasts suggest dry all week others showers on and off joys!

Got going at noon 19 . 5 % just sneaked on steady
Blowing a gale and quite warm when the suns out it’s down to 18 now
Sneaking on a bit quicker now
Grounds ok ish but got some might be a bit sticky Underfoot stuff to do
Forecast for here is better but not brilliant next week so just going to plod on straw isn’t fit to bale but neither has the last 200 acres been that’s still lying
Worry about that again
Mornings already slow to get going and nights closing in alarmingly fast making short cutting days now
