See I was spot on. Clive would be thinking on how to spent it all.

I once saw a system at HR Bourne’s that was very good.
So one conveyer down the side of shed ( ie long ways ) then one under it ( short ways ) on rails. The short conveyor has an open bottom so the grain drops in, till it rises to the conveyor. Then moves across the building till it’s full. Then the conveyer moves forward either on a sensor or manual on a hand held.
The result is a shed loaded from above with no compaction, perfectly level to the base of the cross conveyor.

Would be top job in your set up if you used above floor round ducting. But not for pedestals.

At Bourns they had below floor vents.

It could work well for you.

All good til the conveyor breaks down.....

I find the only way to get a sample is run the drum speed at 950 and the concave at 10 or 11mm. Also keep the fan speed well up to 950 and don’t be afraid to have the returns trumpet showing more than usual by keeping the bottom sieve a little tighter that other wheats.

Yes, done that, drum flat out, concave tried from 8-20mm, fan speed flat out and lower at 5, upper at 10. Guess just got to live with it, did open the lower sieve to limit returns, but reckon i'll close it up and live with the returns. Frustrating but such is life!!!!
Thanks

All cereals now done , today started with 140 acres of s wheat standing now all in the shed and yielded around the 3 ton mark . So very happy with it grain stores all full to bursting just a shame the prices are crap .
Still got 40 acres of soya that is still green so that will be mid to late sept.

surprising what difference a fortnight makes, 2 weeks ago 5" of rain in 3 days yesterday filing the shed up with skyfall wheat @14.5% as 300t of skyfall goes out the other end in 10 wagons and sowing OSR into barley stubble that could actually do with a shower of rain
