Situation Vacant Harvest Manager & Assistant Farm Manager

Farming does not get any more complex, challenging and enjoyable than our client’s operation. Based in Kent they produce over 100 varieties of vegetables, fruits, salads and herbs from 10 locations, supplying a portfolio of clients including major retailers, food service and wholesalers. Ongoing growth across all areas has created the demand for the following roles:

Harvest Manager & Assistant Farm Manager.

Working as part of an integrated management team covering production, technical, packing and sales disciplines, the Harvest Manager takes responsibility for the utilisation of people and resources, ensuring that crops are picked and delivered to pack house in a highly efficient manner, clean and to schedule. Experience working with large seasonal workforces will be beneficial, as will a real passion for fresh food production. The ability to work intelligently, as part of a team, bringing organisation and structure to a fast changing environment is prerequisite. Additionally we are interested in individuals wishing to progress their career into crop production management working as part of the farm management team.

In return, our client offers an attractive remuneration package and the opportunity for personal and career progression within an ambitious and fast growing business.
To discuss these roles and your suitability in a confidential manner call Martin Thorley or one of the consultancy team. Alternatively email your CV along with a covering letter.
