Most are a few days early. They bung the combine up on a Friday afternoon, spend 3 days unblocking it & fixing the damage, by which time it's just about ripe. If they had started on a Monday instead...

Nah not really. It was my attempt at drought based humour ?
Though it would be safe to say if the crop was tragically ready then, we certainly wouldn't be ?

Nothing will ready here till mid august. Just late drilled wheat and spring barley. Don’t rush it.
