I mean the tractor was stopped and I was just out of shot ready to make a grab for them....

I thought in his first intro YouTube video he said hes got 400 odd acres, I'd be giving up if that was all it would earn.Crikey.... what size is his farm??? Curious as he suggested his budget was to make a £16k profit before machinery finance or drawings... doesn’t sound like a lot....
I was actually guessing more given the combine he has in the videos, although could be a contractor cutting the linseedI thought in his first intro YouTube video he said hes got 400 odd acres, I'd be giving up if that was all it would earn.
Pulverised, onto sieves and scattered by chaff spreader, but should be avoidable in Northern parts. I hate the other extreme more, where juicy straw emerges similar to chopped silage.Don't think so.
The swath out of the rotary is just more dense.
Where do you think it's gone? Why would there be double the straw out the back of the straw walker combine with 10ft less header width?
Your probably correct but he doesn’t actually say that tho, he says he “expects to make a £16k profit this year before machinery costs or drawings” which is what made me think he was talking about his entire operations and then think... crikey!!!!The 16k profit was just on his field of Linseed.
you can make figures say what you want, creative accounting. just like the bbc creative journalism.Your probably correct but he doesn’t actually say that tho, he says he “expects to make a £16k profit this year before machinery costs or drawings” which is what made me think he was talking about his entire operations and then think... crikey!!!!
Good yields/bad yields, the kids still enjoy a trip to the field! Well, one of them did.

What was Look North up to?, been too busy to watch telly!Don't know if you gave Look North permission or not but i recognise that video that they used tonight.
I reckon it was late frost damage in May that gave him all those seedless pods.I see Harry`s Farm`s linseed has no yielded very well
They had a piece about climate change and how cropping would have to change - Alan Stennett did a piece to camera about cropping changes - and they played a vid of a JD header from cab shot which you had posted earlier! What was Look North up to?, been too busy to watch telly!
Did you get any rain last night? Friend told me it really rained hard last night to the east and luckily I missed it,this afternoon also missed another heavy storm this just to the north.
Feet up now till Monday, running out of stuff what is ready.
Oh and it rained for all of 5 seconds heavily and flashed a few times and that was it!What was Look North up to?, been too busy to watch telly!
