Indeed. 6t is going to be better than many. At £160 a ton, plus sub that's going to leave a margin, whereas a lot of folk will be on negative margins after osr, winter barley, peas and beans. It's far from a write-off.
Agreed. If I was offered an average of 6t & £160 across our little lot I think I would take it.Indeed. 6t is going to be better than many. Per acre?Same here, T Hectares.
Got going, at last, on our wheat at 17.5% yesterday only to get 10mm in 10 mins when just starting up again today and the forecast for this week now none too good at all.
So, still averaging 4.75t, so far.
Dry it downJust a few maybe, but i have bloody loads. no idea what to do with the rest of the field. If i spray with roundup now will it be knackered for seed?

Yields from 3.4 to 10.8 t/Ha for wheat here. Harvest all wrapped up now. It’s the earliest finish in my time farming by some way, helped by not having any of our usual spring linseed acreage this year.
8 t/Ha over area drilled. 7Ha of which were sprayed out early spring having only received seed and slug pellets (I probably should have sprayed another 3Ha out in hindsight).average ?

Im over the moon with that as over half was 2nd or 3rd wheats.
The less said about the peas, rye and winter linseed the better though.

Didn’t have much looking like that here...Small field of Parkin, just tried as a look see. Done as well as anything here. 78kg at 14%

No, mainly thin limestone brash. With some areas of slightly deeper glacial till (which gave the 10.8t/Ha )You have quite a bit of clay there don’t you ?
Nor have I now! Got 2/3 of wheat left to do now which is generally pants.Didn’t have much looking like that here...
