has anyone bought from adam hewitt??

I often look to see what damaged machines adam Hewitt has on sale.. there are some nearly new tractors but I am not sure if they are a DIY proposition !! there were a couple of fire damaged telehandlers that might be good buy but there is a possibility that the fire could be deliberately started because of serious problems...… when I worked at farm building supplier in the early 80's the foreman frequently bought damaged cars cheap and repaired them using second hand parts then used the car for a while before selling on at a profit,

Havent bought from him, but his premises is just down the road from me. Often see people browsing the yard as well machinery moving in and out. Amazing how many new mowers and tedders the yard racked up this summer.

I used to buy the odd bit but it usually turned out too expensive. There's a lot of export trade on on damaged stuff and they can usually pay far more for it than we can.
Better off taking your chances at a collective sale. At least you've got half a chance of it working
