Not quiet on topic, but I see that Leo Varadkar is warming to the idea of a bridge between Scotland and Northern Ireland but the UK has to pay for it. No problem so long as all from the ROI pay a toll to use it. Discuss.

Unless he's been asked to contribute, I don't see what it's got to do with him. This whole Brexit debacle has got them meddling far too much in UK business. But we can blame Thatcher the traitor for that.
Plus a UK government's of various colours who seem either reluctant or unwilling to stand up for UK interests here at times!

It will never happen so I guess suggestions don't matter, but I saw somewhere that a proposed route for a bridge war Ballycastle to Kintyre, have any of the people who are making this suggestion been to either place? An idiotic suggestion.

ROI on one side and Scotland (potentially in the EU) on the other with a bridge to link, assuming NI is still in the UK, couldn't that possibly be a strong place for NI to trade both ways easily?

And if out of the UK, couldn't that be an opportunity for NI to be come a "Switzerland", (albeit a lot less scenic and with a house stuck in the corner or every 3 acre field), Assuming it's not Scotland's plan to become a haven of some kind?

I'm assuming that's not what Sammy is wanting a bridge for but what he wants doesn't really matter as he's not very clever, particularly since he's a unionist who wants to build a bridge to a country who is represented vastly by a party who wants to leave that union. Which along with Brexit is another way that he and is mates seem keen to f☆~k the Union without even realising.
