We spread all of ours during winter.

Just on frosts as Pete said. Put it on stubble or grass and plough in.

It's not overly wet here yet. But the temperature is due to drop ten degrees once this breeze passes through, so stuff won't dry.

It has been a great year for my grass, could have done with a bit more rain over the summer as my streams kept running dry. Chucked it down last night and streams running well now. Hopefully can stop carting water round for cows and sheep.

35mm here, dressed more seed today for the chalk land, drawn a line under 10ha of very heavy Bedfordshire clay until the spring. Dry 24hrs and I will be drilling again
