I see MPs voted to end free movement a couple of days ago so that is that.
Definitely will stop UK citizens from studying, working, travelling and retiring freely across our own continent - that will make us exceptional.I see MPs voted to end free movement a couple of days ago so that is that.

I do understand. I understand that the free movement of British people to study, work, live and retire in the remaining EU countries will disappear. And I am old enough to remember the 'joy' of applying for residence permits, work permits (how many job candidates are so outstanding that you would wait, possibly months, keeping that post open to see if they get accepted?). So yes, I understand very well.
Ooo aaarrr!I don't give a fudge. The whole tertiary education system is a money making free for all. If you want to go to Europe, you pay and apply to the country in question. Seriously, the plight of students is the last thing any country should worry about. The member states will have their own policies, why the hell do you need the EU for everything?
Turning up to meetings would have helped. Decisions are made by those who turn up.The UK meps had as much say as any. Are you saying they were unable to represent the UK view point or was it just they weren't able to organise their viewpoint to be accepted. All politics and discussion are based on alliances with different groups. Hasn't Trump said recently that a China deal will put a stop to a US deal. Every country has their own agenda. UK will be dictated to if their negotiates are not smart enough. Them trade reps seem unable to secure deals. Look at Frost at the moment, thinks he can have same benifit with theEu after leaving the club as before. Why is he begging like that if they were so awful.

I thought the largest UK party in the EU parliament did exactly what was printed on the tin?
Yep.I
Quite!! Collected the salaries and expenses, without even turning up. Represented the British fishermen on the fisheries committee, for extra expenses on top. Didn’t turn to those meetings either.
Then the fishermen of Yarmouth, figured the EU thing wasn’t working for them.
You gotta hand it to Nige ..... he sure pulled a fast one.
You'll still be laughing all the way to the bank.Has it sunk in yet as to westminsters future intentions for UK ag????? it couldnt be clearer from where im standing these politicians have voted through a bill to stop area payments and have voted against proposed amendments which could save farmers from competing with imported ag products of much lower standards, we will be flooded with cheap crap from the US now!
The big question is do all these farmers that voted for brexit now realise what they have done? i wished that i would be proved wrong but unfortunately the outlook is not good from here on!

Don't worry.
Be happy.
Brexit gives us all something to look forward to post covid ( whichever comes first )
I wonder which will prove to be the most damaging in the long term.
