Do get good Easter eggs in New Zealand?
It's a mixed bag, there used to be the Cadburys factory an hour away and their chocolate was good enough.

By and large it's pretty good, you do get the occasional chocolate that's :wtf: with a horrid gritty aftertaste, I assume it's too much palm oil.
This year I have (had) a nice Waikato Valley egg :hungry:

Any football today . We are playing Oxford and I think @JCMaloney is coming up for the game.
It’s been a busy one here , with family lunch on Friday , aunt and uncles 50 th wedding anniversary in Chester on Saturday night( mum was one of 11 , so lots of cousins ., and a bit of tractor driving in between. Fertiliser spreading and maize ground work. Oh and I planted some wild bird seed mix on sat morning.

We always used to be flat out over Easter weekends in the days when we were growing spuds, but since going all combinable crops, and being up to date because of the good weather, everyone has had a whole weekend and the Bank holidays off.

Hope everyone has had at least some time off with family and especially their kids, you livestock men work far too many hours as it is!

Ps used to be a dairy farm so I speak from experience!

Hiya holywell farmer hope you're having a good one what's left of it, had a rare day off yesterday & went for a drive around suffolk sarounded by acres of OSR we ended up having a bit of pack lunch in a field gateway in a little used lane in Denham, there happened to be a pig farm the other side of the hedge, the smell was beautiful it took me back to our pig rearing days as a lad luckily the OSR affects the misses so she couldn't smell it!!!

Mrs SB and sister both away so been half working, mowing lawns, washing cars etc. Oh and reading "Clive's" book.
I hope I don't regret washing the cars and changing my avatar. Might end up with a 2012.

Just another day at the office, contractor has been spraying the wheat this morning and is now doing the oats, I’ve done the milking, getting on with feeding and bedding and got some minor problems to sort out in the parlour before milking again later, not a hectic day but won’t be a lot of spare time either, such is life, if it were all bad we wouldn’t do it.
