Put a poll in the Cropping section asking about cropping assurance, so thought I'd put another here to see the wider picture across all sectors.
But you are still paying them for the privilege of telling them you aren't breaking the law.I had my FAWL inspection in the Spring. Due to ongoing COVID restrictions they weren't allowed in the house/office and didn't inspect any paperwork other than the vet animal health plan.
I'd have dropped out if there had been any issues but, unlike combinables, most of it is a legal requirement anyway.

Got on the phone to them to bend an ear, first contact ‘i’ll pass you on to someone else’,I.e., don't want to deal with a hot potato. Next person ‘i’ll get someone to phone you on Monday!
Talk about pass the buck.
