Great bloke I thought, looked after me when I first got sent to Kirkby as young lad twenty years ago I bet!! Don’t know what went on but personally only have good to say about the man!! Hard to keep still though

Bloody good auctioneer. Had too watch him but he always made it right if he’d got a bit carried away! Always remember watching him selling when I was a little nipper wondering if he was wearing a hole in the rostrum floor at Lazonby!
