Just baled half of ours normally between 750 to 850 bales only 540 today. Grass lay only been down 2 year. Had some rain 22nd of April and only 8mm since then till last Saturday

Made some very good hay on the 9th of June
Weather looks very good for next week so going to cut a couple silage fields and leave them to make some more hay

I cut 14 acres last Thursday had dry days but not a lot of sun so far , its a slow job at the moment but with next weeks forecast I plan on cutting another 8 acres tomorrow night and some more on sunday if I get baled up over weekend what has been turned every day

Lincolnshire show this week, so in accordance with tradition started mowing yesterday!

Will get some more down tomorrow - would be good to get haymaking finished in June, rather than trailing on into harvest as has tended to happen the last few years.

Done it here already. Best did 8 tight 4ft rounds worst 5/ac. There was little there until April but showers and warm weather transformed it. Kind of wish waited for next week but done anyway.
