Looking for wheat and barley straw. In the swath. Ideally down A1 from Durham to Lincolnshire but any areas considered I have a 4x4 big square Baler. Happy to bale and pay farmer per bale or do your baling and get paid in bales. Open to any suggestions and ideas. Can move them off field at harvest and over winter from stack.

Is it worth me making any meadow hay? Will be heavy 8x4x2 bales, additive on baler if necessary. Daren't sell as horse hay as odd thistle etc but makes nice hay, no complaints in previous years. Would ideally like to sell some ex field. I imagine that there's not much market with yields being as good as they are? What would new hay be fetching ex farm in Cambs? @Forage Trader ? Anyone else?
