Thats when you drag out your 'low sugar hay, made specially for laminitics'. AKA hay that got a decent dose of rain and is more akin to straw than hay. One of my liveries has been feeding her horse for 3 winters on some such hay I made in 2019 and paying the same as the others pay for soft green stuff. Just looking at that first picture, fair to say if you cut that round here you'd be in trouble as it would be a grass seed paddock.

That’s where you went wrong, you should have charged her more for it. After all, I bet it cost you significantly more to keep turning it after the rain than it did to make the soft green stuff.
how do you manage to make hay with those temperature?

made better hay at 20c to 25c with bit of wind that fryed 29c, 30c and still not fit in the joint
