Heat stress

Troughs couldn’t keep up today with demand so this has helped considerably. U shaped 4” drain pipe with outlet touching floor when parked.
Reach over trough and roll forks back and 1000 litres syphons out in 40 seconds. Don’t need to get out machine. Make sure cap off or ibc implodes! Box on top catches the splashing as you drive down track.

we put ours up here, there's pretty well always a good breeze up there, that's where they like to be, and 3x 500gl water troughs. Farm looks surprisingly green, most of the hill is now plantain and clover. But l have a seriously good field of wheat below it, The3 pics represent about 200 degree turn, next field back, makes it 280 degrees overlooking the rest.

That's the graph I've posted elsewhere about heat stress. I'm lucky enough to have an app on my phone linked to a customers climate sensor. Yesterday afternoon it peaked at 81 which was just over the threshold for severe stress. But that was when your expect heat to be at strongest anyway.

The rest of the week barely comes under mild stress. Looking forward to next week I'm not seeing a lot of temps above 20°C so I wouldn't turn a mole hill into a mountain.

My experience of heat stress is more embryo reabsorbed than abortions anyway.

Enjoy the sun for a bit and relax!
