I'm not complaining but bloody hell it's been hot this afternoon. Bit of a shock to the system. Everyone here has become so used to the cold and wet that the heat has knocked us for six. I could almost sleep on my feet!

I started in Kendal this morning and drove down the M6 and M5 to glos. The outdoor temp got up to an indicated 25! Got home and I felt shattered! Almost heard myself complaining about the heat!! We live ina dynamic climate for sure!! I mean the last few weeks has seen abnormally high mortality of new born lambs and now this! Sweltering weather!! Mustn’t grumble!
