Just typical warm front associated weather, very difficult to forecast with any accuracy. The cloud only has to be a few hundred more feet deep and the drizzle forms .

A shower stopped me combining at about 8.30 last night. And it’s rained overnight.
Typical as it had got down to 15.2% . Shows it’s properly ripe now as no liquid sunshine applied

Drizzle again where we are cutting this morning. It’s a lovely day here at home and we could cut. Was good at both sites yesterday but a day off for a wedding, typical!!

This morning we woke up to heavy drizzle which was not forecast by the Met office in its computer generated forecast or the notes created by a forecaster. Drizzle was not mentioned on WeatherPro either. If any professional weather forecasters read this , why was this heavy drizzle/ light rain not able to be forecast, a farm about 15 miles away has had 3mm.
Tetbury/ Cirencester area.
Same problem here Saturday morning.....Check forecast Friday evening to be dry all day so get an early start to go spray some oats and wheat for a farmer....get there and what do I see coming over the hill rain....Making the early start pointless as I had to wait for the crop to dry.

Had ten minutes of drizzle at 5 up to then it had been going well, just managed to finish the field we were in, started at 18% was down to 16 by two, gleam viscerally ripe now thrashing very easily and lovely sample apart from wet patches where the redshank we are plagued with has grown up in the last month.

overnight heavy shower then another around 5pm this afternoon put paid to any thoughts of harvesting but has taken the pressure off being in two places at once ,as preparing land for osr and clearing the backlog in the store
