I have a bomford hawk hedge cutter with cable controlls. The cable for rotor direction has stuck in reverse , it wont change to let rotor stop or change direction. Any one know how to un sieze it

It’s most likely on the spool rather than cable. Take the cable off the spool and see if cable free.
then on the back side of the spool there should be an aluminium top hat. Take that off and have a look inside

Most likely cause of failure is the detent kit on the opposite end to the cable. You'll find it under the aluminium cap. There should be one spring and two tiny ball bearings in there
