Hedge planting with digger attactcment

Has anyone made an attatcment for the machine to save the back while planting a new hedgerow ? Two offset spikes or similar . Thanks

We just used a plank marked out as a ruler, and then made the holes with the rock hammer .

A neighbour made one out a length of large rsj with about half a dozen spikes welded to it in a stagger pattern along each side. He could then drive along punching several holes at once while another person was following and putting the whips in.

next door neighbour did the same, how much hedge do you have to plant?

Be very careful doing that. Friend mole ploughed twice at 90 degrees and planted at the cross for trees. Everyone died because the roots dropped into a void.
I used a mole to scratch lines to mark out on turf and in a dry summer big cracks appeared where I had scratched the surface.
