I have a batch of replacements and 1 is starting to concern me. She is BB / AA / with a bit of Sim in her too, 26 months old, approx 600 KG, AI'd six weeks ago. A stranger could walk up and rub her generally, she has no fear of humans.
Except 3 times she has kinda frightened me out in the field. On approaching her she dropped her head away from me as if she was going to swing it in my direction and snorting through her nose, I got out of there I'm wary of her since.
I don't know what to do, normally she's quiet, she was in a shed all winter an I'd be walking through them no bother, I'm considering injecting her to abort and fattening her.

Lots of cattle do this it’s not necessarily a threat. She won’t be the one that goes for you. It’s the ones not on the radar that do

That’s nothing much to worry about although the tame ones are more dangerous in my opinion as you say no fear just carry a stick any off that head swinging or bouncing about to giddy slight tap tip of the nose remind her your not a play thing I love friendly cattle but they have to know boundaries

If in doubt get her out! Been working sucklers most of my life an was put to the ground by a “quiet heifer” a few months ago. Not afraid to admit the experience took the revs of me for a few days. You only get one chance at this life thing @Banj0Bolt
