HELP 2020 BPS Quick Query

Got it all done at the last minute as per normal but.....

ON page 8 under "FIELD DATA SUMMARY" there are two total boxes that get automatically filled in.

Box 1 says " Total maximum area eligible for BPS (ha) - 96.7154ha"

Box 2 says "Total eligible area you want to claim payment for (ha) (Total of C8) - 96.9354ha"

There's no under or over declared fields, I don't understand why its different or if it even matters , don't want to go to town trying to find the issue if it's not going to be a problem.

Paths,drives,lanes any other bits possibly??

I thought if the C8 figure was bigger on a parcel it would flash up the "over declared" warning?

Anyway I just looked back and last year it was over a ha out but I seemed to be paid the right amount so maybe its not important.

They won't be eligible. Have you reduced your area for something that is not permissible this year e.g. a muck heap >1 year old?

Not to do with this but on one parcel there is a grass track down the side of an arable field, RPA mapped it as a strip of permanent pasture and pay for it - fair enough. On another field with an identical track they mapped it as "Track - Natural Surface" and list it as ineligible. I tried putting an RLE1 to amend it but they didn't do and life's to short to argue for what its worth - just annoys me how they get heavy when we make mistakes but no one cares when they do.

What was growing in the field 15th May? That's what needs to go on the form. Planting it with something else is going to fine - you still meet the 3 crop rule etc regardless?

2 crop rule isn't it this time? And yes what ever was in the ground on the 15th May is what counts.
