Hi all

I have lost my medicine records, movement records aswell as all my movement licenses no idea at all where it all is, question is can I just send for some new movement/med register?

I have only just started keeping sheep again so haven't had any movements in about 3 years and I understood u only need to keep movement licenses for a certain withdrawal period?

I always wondered if you had a fire, lost everything and ARAMS were required to send back archived records what you'd actually get back ......

Not a lot. I had a RPW inspection last summer and the woman brought out a list of sheep movements notified as moving onto other holdings, in order to check that my rexcords were correct. Around half the number of sheep that had ‘left’ here, had ever ‘arrived’ anywhere in England, Wales or Scotland (who’s movement bodies are all supposed to communicate).
No copies of my ‘off’ movements were taken, so those sheep have just disappeared somewhere, according to the official records.

Have you checked behind the sofa?

Best start with phoning vets and get them to send all your invoices for the past year or two. You will get all the batch numbers with them, at least then you will be able to work our your med stocks, then you can then assign the right meds to the animals you know you've treated..
Good luck
