anyone have a deutz 5 series with isobus? i have a problem where my terminal is unable to pickup the speed, tested the terminal in a 7 series it works fine the dealer replaced all the electronic wiring, along with the isobus ecu and main ecu, still nothing, there is nothing else left to...
ok first side effect. the tilt cylinder can't hold steering column angle anymore due to the extra weight. anyone know the removal process? steering wheel off or just plastics? I heard instrument cluster held in with velcro is that true?
got it all apart, instrument cluster held in with velcro indeed
hammering out the pin out of gas cylinder was a pain in the ass, 2 hours and cutting involved it must have been pressed in. new pin has too much slack. so I used a concrete expansion bolt we'll see what happens its tight for now, no play
so i have a bad SDD sensor in the hydraulic steering block, maybe from all the hammer banging trying to get steering wheel off. error U91. anyone know if this sensor is replaceable, or i have to buy the whole block? does danfoss make a replacement?
Do that to a matbro and you bugger the column.
Maybe has a plastic thrust washer top and bottom with a hole in it and a roll pin.
That is all that stops in and out float, even with your knees hooked under wheel pulling up like mad while hammering on the shaft normally results in the top thrust washer ripping through the roll pin, this causes the column to bind afterwards and the thrust washer isnt sold as a spare part so you have to make one.
I know cause I dont it many times now I keep the wheel puller in the van all the time so it there when I need it.
