HELP! Samsung S6 won't unlock

My phone has gone into lockdown, it downloaded the latest Android software the other day, and has started popping up with a message saying the Google text app isn't working.
Next thing the phone rebooted itself and because it has re-started it needs the password, but because the text isn't working the keyboard doesn't pop up, but clicks when i press the dialogue box.

I've tried restarting but that doesn't work,
It won't let me turn off without password
It won't let me into settings without passwork
It won't let me access files via laptop and USB without password
Can't remove battery as it's sealed
Tried to run battery down but that hasn't worked

Any bright ideas?

Plug a keyboard in using a USB to micro USB adapter.

I haven't got a USB keyboard, can i do it with laptop?

Check the date and time are right - the most common reason for the stupid things doing stupid things.

Yes, but can't unlock to disable it, i have a USB keyboard on order so i can unlock it,

luckily i was due an upgrade, so now got an S8
