Only sensible thing to do , SA infection rates gone from 200/day to 1200+ /day. Going to test the resolve of those that still refuse the vaccination . Cant get my booster soon enough even if its only 70% ish effective against this new strain. Having children about/schools open seems to be like an open back door for the virus though regardless of measures but they have to be educated

Lockdowns are a waste of time because no one takes any notice of them any more. Covid is pretty widespread in the population now anyway so doubt it would make that much difference any more.

As for masks, personally I hate wearing them, but you gotta do what's right. I’m lucky really that I work mostly on my own for myself so don’t need to bother with them a lot.

covid is here to stay so we may as well learn to live with it

COVID in our house atm. Youngest daughter brought it home from school we think. Mrs and oldest daughter waiting for test results.
Don’t know if we are being over sensitive knowing we might have it but me and the Mrs both have a sore mouth.
don’t think we’ll be locked down again

Does our prime minister only became a leader that people listen to starting at the end of November? I’m sure I’m not the only one that is a bit cynical. We all know the story of the boy who cried wolf.

Just got over it, bloody miserable really. (One of the joys of having a wife who’s a teacher….with 8 kids in her class testing positive)

No chance not to get on with stuff with stock, but by the pm I was wiped out for a good few days.

No energy, horrid cough, no appetite, lost taste and smell and just wanted to crash in bed.
