It's that something you do every year?

Pretty much

We started with a hobby herd of 3 Dexters and kind of expanded as we went along, keep some of the Dexters pure and do box beef, outcross any excess or unregistered cows and we currently run a whitebred shorthorn bull, previously used an AA Bull and kept his daughters.

The X Dexters grow fine and we generally get them away store no problem, although we had a very poor sale this spring.

We ran a couple of Galloway X Dex through to finish on grass alone and butcher raved about them, got a SHO X that had a facefull of warts when his cohort left so he is going to a finish as well

The cows make a standalone profit?
