I am an avid history buff and responsible metal detectorist (yes we are out there) with years of experience behind me of uncovering historical artifacts. I am an admin of a large International detecting group of which members include experts within numismatics, archaeology, British Museum, Liasson officers and even a member of the Time Team that airs on TV. I have full Public Liability insurance of up to £10m also.
I am also listed in the Portable Antiquities database having locally found an artefact of historical interest to the British Museum.
I live in Essex and on the Hertfordshire border. I am looking to hopefully form a respectful and collaborative partnership with land owners for responsible metal detecting (and I can confirm the term responsible). This partnership will be of monetary and historical value to both parties. For me, my aim is to preserve the hidden history beneath our feet.
I have a full presentation with information of who I am, the value I can provide to you and to our heritage which I would love to either present to you or send to you electronically so that you can view within your own time
I am looking to gain both individual partnerships and also detecting event partnerships of which the revenue to you may be substantial - especially if the tour for International enthusiasts becomes successful. I have no limit on the area of interest but of course historical areas - ideally but not limited to those mentioned within the Doomsday Book.
