HGV Height

Could somebody tell me the normal height of a double decker cattle artic ?

Building a shed this summer and want enough clearance to get decker reversed in.
Thank you for the tag @llamedos

The maximum legal height of any normal road going vehicle is 4.95m (just under 16ft 3") (like the supermarket / parcel carrying double pallet trailers on ultra small wheels). These are route compromised with too many low bridges for livestock work and they will hit even more low trees at that height.

Scotland and Ireland tend to favour bigger 22,5 inch wheels and typical maximum will be 15'5"

I attach typical cross section diagrams for our trailers (other brands are available but maybe not with quite the same internal height availability - although I accept this is not your original concern ).

True, sorry poor English. No legal limit but the 16ft 3in / 4.95m is seen in Type Approval and practical use terms as the maximum so as to optimise trunk and main route running. Your centre of gravity for livestock is also that much higher

I thought the Scots boys driving 6 wheeler rigid outfits with big super single front tyres and 2 deck cattle / 4 deck sheep boxes were brave but:
