Hi, anyone with experience using PTOs would you mind taking a few mins to fill out a survey for a uni project? It's hugely appreciated!

Why didn’t those bendy guards that look like a drain pipe really catch on?

I think Spaldings supplied them.
They needed to be universally fitted to every tractor and machine on the fleet or you couldn't swap a tractor from one job to another easily, you'd to remove the tractors PTO guard to fit the bracket, some machines would need major surgery to fit the brackets, such as a rotorspreader front cover, everything inside the rubber tube got lathered in grease making very unpopular with staff.

Done. I put a new shaft and guard on a mower this year, the first time out the securing chain tore the little plastic securing eye off of the guard, can this be repaired or should I get a new guard?
