Download an app, permission already in place.
Detectorists will be "geo-fenced" so you guys know who is where and when.
The folk running it take a cut and you can watch who is where from the comfort of your own phone/tablet.

All happy with that?
:oops::rolleyes:

Doesn’t say how much the detector it’s will pay
May be a good idea
This App might work a bit like Booking.com
Farmer puts his bit of land up online with a price ..... say £50 an hour for a block of land
Detectorist books it and pays onlinr

I’m suggesting £50 an hour as the days ofgiving the farmer a bottle of wine or a £10 a day are long gone

want access to play with your toy
Pay £50/hr

JCM, everyone switches off when they see "metal detecting". Try something like "TFF member promotes hi-tech detecting". Or better still, "Detectorist JCMaloney goes hi-tach". Everyone here knows you by now and you've a reputation to trade on.
