Have a first world problem.
Milk quality has now reached 10.5 % with that the Bacto and therms have started to creep. I’m not sure if it’s s weather thing or a milk quality thing.
Was wondering if other folk in similar situations change anything either in their wash or parlour routines

We use a powder based detergent D90 rather than a liquid which we used to use,
I think the bits of powder act a bit like sand paper in the line,
Touch wood have no problem since

No troubles here but that's on double hot wash. We have enough surplus solar through to this time of year that double hot is minimal expense but I've just bought a box of mole valley virus shield to try through winter when the output from the solar drops off.

We just under 11% solids and our bactoscans have crept up last couple over 50. Only OAD so think we might change chemical, try D90 maybe. Maybe an extra acid wash too.

Hope you get on better with virus shield wash than we did with the dip!
