Has anyone any information about fitting a new high speed gear on my hydraulic pump your just revving the tires off the old
Girl for any hydraulic flow, it’s had a new pump in the last 100 hours so it’s deffo not that.
What would you do to check the mcv and relief valve?View attachment 974704
Have you gone through the usual things - checked hyd oil level, changed filter, checked the MCV etc? including the relief valve?
I would start by putting a pressure gauge on a remote and see if you’ve got at least 2200 psi and ideally a flow meter as well, so you can measure pressure against certain flow rates. What would you do to check the mcv and relief valve?
Why not just replace like for like ? Do you actually need the extra flow ?Basically steering and hydraulics are terrible unless it's got lots of revs, slow to lift, and then not got great lift capabilities, will still tip a trailer but not very quickly, thinking new pump with high speed kit would sort it
