So got a demo here. In some ways its a toy compared to a "normal" utv, but actually I rather like it and think it might even suit our requirements. Small and light for our wet ground. Intended as a second machine alongside the quad for running around the small scale pigs and poultry here, and as a safe and legal way of taking passengers (placement student here now) on jobs. Generally reasonably well built I would say, though there's a few things a bit annoying that wouldn't take much to have been better. Mudguards are the first thing. Just like the Can Am quad, they're not wide enough and mud goes everywhere. Also, the butt is very small, and could've been wider without affecting the overall width. The footwell has a deep lip, and unless I'm missing something isn't going to be easy to wash out. As @Downton_shep says it does indeed slow up considerably on a slope, especially loaded. But it does keep going, and seems to grip well. Pulled the chicken tractor with it, and I would say it handled it better than the 570 Can Am quad. However it seems slower than it is (compared to driving the can am traxter at same speed we have here also on demo) which I think is because its both so quiet, and so smooth. As far as spares and back up are concerned, I think the Barrus tie up should help on that front. Both the dealers I've spoken to claim to have not needed to touch the machines they have out, though they've only been over here maybe 18 months. There is a new model in the pipeline which will be larger, and with lithium batteries, and therefore more power and range. This may well answer lots of the criticisms, though obviously will come at an increased price tag.
