Don’t pay unless you owe it! Up to them to show you the proof that you were in breech not for you to prove your innocence......But what would I know, I’ve kept at least one individual occupied at N E for 7 years come May 20 th.

When they do pay you next time they will knock it off anyway! Add up what they owe you and ring them up and tell them to knock it off what is probably a much larger amount they owe you, puts them on the back foot, makes you feel a little better then go to battle but only once you have what is owed to you otherwise if you appeal first it jams the release of funds until it is settled.

All teh advice and guidance I have had says to pay first (or negotiate a payment plan!) before starting an appeal. Apparently a "jam" can also affect BPS payment.
