You only watched the first film didn't you, or did you stay watching?

If you watched the rest you will know the Cambrian Hills water catchment areas are not natural they are man made.
Some date as far back as the Bronze Age, the gulley type chanels are called something like 'van (fan) kailleys?, any trees up there have been planted by man.
Did you know you grew Almonds up there too?

What does Llwbrai'r Dafaid mean?

You can learn stuff from the most unlikely people in the strangest of places.

If you look on you tube for a man called Brian Sewel he was an Art critic for the Times, an advisor on Art to the Queen and presented a series about Art on tv.
But the one thing I remember him for was when asked 'What is the meaning of Art'?
His answer was 'Simply to make you stop'.

You all saw a mad woman pretending to be a sheep.

I saw the many different shadows, shades of green, different types of grasses and heather on a hillside.
The clarity of a stream.
Curious sheep.
A curious Openreach man.
And by watching the video even though it looked as if it was over I saw more videos and learnt more.

Beauty is all around us, the art is stopping to see it.
Fek, I'm having that as my signature

Im not sure if you are taking the p##s or not ? But either way you could be half way to becoming an art critic , hell even an artist with tosh they talk that is about is 90% of the game , and I genuinely think it is just a game as the more outlandish and weird the "ART" is the more likely it is to attract some sort of funding or catch the eye of some one who would nominate it for the tuner prize.
Art can mean loads of different things to different people but most of us common folk would assume its someone with some talent for drawing sculpting etc.
when the Gateshead hosted the tuner prize , entry was free so i genuinely thought lets go along and see what it was about, i can't remember how many were on the short list but there where maybe 6 or 7 only one of which was what paintings done in "Humbrol" paint the type you would paint airfix models in , but the guy had painted council housing estates , a "Dog sh!t bin" etc , they were mind quite superb and looked like photos not painting the rest was crap , so crap that even after the guides had explained each several times and i had read the artist blurb on there creation i still didn't have clue what they where , balls of paper hanging from a roof , TV's playing the sound of police sirens , a table 1/2 way through a wall .
at the end there was place for the public to comment , most said "dog sh!t bin" was best and i asked the guides what was he thought would win , not mr dog sh!t bin he said , not "controversial enough" to much talent for tuner prize" he said .
But that brings us full circle to the rubbish they talk i would go as far as saying that this is 90% of the job , weld two plow points together generate a rubbish statement to go with it and bingo the cash rolls in.

"My work explores the relationship between the body and vegetarian ethics.
With influences as diverse as Blake and L Ron Hubbard, new synergies are distilled from both traditional and modern textures.
Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the mind. What starts out as vision soon becomes corrupted into a manifesto of futility, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the inevitability of a new understanding.
As momentary phenomena become clarified through boundaried and critical practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the darkness of our future"

the above is not my creation mind i used the handy "arty rubbish generator" a website for just such tosh here https://artybollocks.com/#abg_full

start the welder up !!!!:poop:

I’d be worried about coming across @GTB on that patch, particularly if he’d had a few hard nights in the lambing shed......

I agree that’s it’s absolutely bonkers, particularly if she was getting funding from some luvvy dovey arts council or other, coming out of taxpayers’ pockets.
Its hard to believe we livi in a country where money is tight for funding hospitals, schools, roads, the police etc yet the govt have money to fund crap like that.
The lunatics are running the asylum springs to mind.:banghead:
