Yesterday hoeing blackgrass in linseed with prototype (no pictures of hoe) you may see one at cereals!!
Blackgrass has had centurion max and was very stunted, but starting to recover so decided to give it a go although crop just starting to flower, very impressed with 50 acres done already, another 50 today.
Before and after pictures.

I tried using RTK but not accurate enough, so have been steering manually( serious concentration).
I think a dome mounted on hoe would work.
Most domes/aerials above the seat you are on which is the last bit to move when you turn. Either mount on the front weight bar or in this case the headstock of the implement and see how responsive the light bar/steering is to changes

Will have to see how easy to link up second dome to fendt system?

What was the cover crop? Thinking of doing the same, but no sheep available for grazing.

mix of whatever we had, oats, beans, peas, linseed, phacelia, sunflower. vetch, fodder radish, millet

plenty of sheep farmers looking for winter cover that will pay to bring them

Very few sheep in this area, will have to make enquiries.

none at all in my area - but they have trucks in Wales :)

stick a "wanted" on here and I'm sure you will get response

Sheep help but are not essential, we have only had them the last 2 winters here so far before that we drilled strict into the ungrazed cover

Having spent many an hour tractor hoeing beet with a 165 and front hoe can assure you guidance wants to be on the implement by eye or GPS. Must say it took a while to stop seeing the rows once I had finished.

Got that job as a student on on DB 995, still remember clearly staring for hours at the seedlings coming through the gap between the wings and then suddenly realise they were now coming through the wrong gap!
