Looking for help from the collective wisdom of the forum please.
I have a batch of 280 in-lamb ewe hoggs that are due to start lambing on the 15th. Sadly 8 of them so far have gone down with CCN/Listeriosis like symptoms (wandering, star gazing and eventually becoming recumbent and then comatose), but treatment for both conditions has proved to be fruitless. I sent 2 live hoggs that had symptoms described to SAC vet lab for a full postmortem, but the results have come back inconclusive other than the fact its something to do with the brain.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
