We have a holiday booked and payed for for aug this year.

Been debating moving it to next year but not to bothered if we do go this year.

Looking online people seem to be getting different deals.

Options are ring up and move but been have seen cost of 50pp to move and then there charging more for same holiday

Or

Saint until were might be made to move it and try and get a better deal.

Has anyone else had to look into it

We’re booked to go beginning of July, like you don’t know what to do. At the moment TUI are only offering free amendments on holidays up to 30/6???

If they cancel and issue a credit I’m going to try for a refund as as it stands now same holiday in 12 months time is just over a £1000 more!!!

That's my thoughts aswell, I'm not set on this hotel or resort so we can look again over Christmas. This would of been our first all inc Magic Life hotel though. We booked this one slightly on a whim as prices really came down over Christmas so fell for it. We had been watching it for about a month and price fluctuated just over £250pp. Unfortunately ours will actually be more than £1000 next year due to not qualifying for free child place aswell.

Ours has been rebooked for next year. Feel really guilty going on a foreign holiday in a aeroplane. After reading some of posts on here!

Gives my wife a break, she literally does everything. I'm a crap husband/dad. I can only relax when in a different country and phone on divert. I always feel guilty if weather good and on holiday in this country. My kids love being by the pool all day and playing with other kids they meet. I know in a few years time they won't want to speak to me.

Missed out on a free infat place on this one by 2 months. So it was 800 for a 2 year old.
I should still get a place.

Pisses me off that they aren't really helping customers after the government helping the airlines out more than it had to

This is exactly how I feel ! Nothing booked for next year yet tho, need the wife to be working to afford it (she runs a cafe at a visitor center so its closed and can't get any compo because it's seasonal)! We normally go February half term but it will probably be October half term 2021 now

We are booked up with the kids to go to Cyprus in the beginning of July
I haven’t thought anything about it but the wife reckons they have to cancel it to get a refund
Not cancelled yet
Interestingly when she paid for it online they wouldn’t accept the last pound of payment so she paid the last pound out of a different account and it went through
My suspicious mind made me think they were playing a fast one so it wouldn’t be refunded but who knows

Their giving vouchers apparently instead of refunds DON'T except .
The vouchers allegedly fall outside abta and atcol etc and if their not honoured your totally knackered.
Insist on FULL REFUND then book again if you got too???

Ok thanks! The wife isn’t good to deal with so she will sort it out but thanks for the advice

I would think that air travel within the next 3 months is going to be extremely unreliable. Governments are all making knee-jerk reactions and are they going to be keen to take UK tourists given the numbers of infected/deaths here?

I can't see the world economy being any better next year, I would leave it and book something last minute next year, air travel is surely going to be in ruins by that point and they will be desperate to get tourists in the loop across the world.

There will be further waves of Covid as people move about. You may spend a few weeks by that Spanish pool if they have a local outbreak. We had a big trip to Far East planned, 10% deposit paid but won't be going now.
