This is the leftovers from a forage rape/rye mix out in last autumn as a winter forage grazing crop.
Plan is to re-seed a herbal grazing ley after it.
Do I direct drill straight into it now, or get another grazing over it first?
Or , do I spray off with glyphosate, then direct drill into a 'clean' paddock?
Plenty of creeping buttercup and chickweed present, along with the all too common dock and thistle seedlings

I'd broadcast the herbal ley over it as it is, no need for spraying off anything , once you cut it, it will come up cleaner .
