Homemade hydraulic pressure guage

Anyone ever make a home hydraulic pressure guage to test the psi through the spools etc? I'm thinking of making one I'd get away with a cheap enough psi guage and a coupling wouldn't I? No need for a pipe.

Seen on YouTube where people made one's for the engine pressure and used a grease gun hose?

Use hydraulic pipe or just connect gauge to quick fit coupler.

Yea thinking about just the gauge and coupling as all are easy access. Hose would be OK for awkward places.

To be fair a grease gun hose would probably be ok, grease guns will do about 5000+ psi

Milwaukee is 10000psi but I still wouldn't use a grease gun hose on a test gauge.

There are prop test gauge hoses called mirco bore hoses, there not expensive, a single digital gauge 0 to 600 bar is by far the best rather than several standard gauges to cover the range.

The kits aren't very expensive though. Come with all the test point adapters and a couple of gauges with different scales on them.
