Homemade tine drill pointers

Upland beef and sheep farm wanting to improve some pp, after pointers/ criticism any of you might have with regard to build and suitability for drinking into pp! Fancy making a 3pl tine drill on a budget of around £3500. Was thinking of 3m wide 4/5mm 100mm box frame with two rows of the universal type pigtail tines. Was thinking of 24 tines in total so would give 12.5cm row spacing. Between each row I thought 10.0/75*15.3 wheels on stub axles with some way to alter depth. Then stick a 3m accord drill on top. Metcalfe, simtech coulters etc, sound expensive so plan on getting my own 8/10mm wide ones made up with ferobide/ hadfacing tip like I have seen others do on here. Wouldn’t be huge acres to do at home but think there is potential for a bit of contracting localy.
Cheers!

@beefsheeparable I have 16 x Aitchison tines, tine clamps, seed pipe brackets and a load of tungsten tipped feet which need building back up with hard facing weld. Old style and a bit worn but could maybe be of help to you? I have them left over from a project and it would be a shame to put them in the scrap bin!

will grab some pics

Thanks for the reply’s, hows the depth adjusted? Looks for sowing deepish, is it narrowish spacing?

Sound right on the job, part worn be no bother, have you got a full set of the 16?

Cheers
