Hi, can anyone tell me what part this is? Sitting next to the battery and fuse box (slightly rear and near side) cylinder shape maybe 1.5" long. Has +/- terminals coming from the top of it with another 2 small wires I think from the ignition switch? When I push starter this solinoid/really just clicks rapidly. Has done this for years, would turn off and then start next try - but think it knackered this time around. Battery, connections and fuses ok. Any help welcome, electrics aren't my strong point !!!

Charge the battery fully or use jump leads as they love a full battery.

Just double check your battery connections for dirt corrosion where you cant see them until you take them off. Clean using sandpaper / wire brush.
A sign it is the battery or battery connections, the headlight will also dim in time with the clicking.
If the headlight stays on solid, then you need a starter solenoid (the round thing also known as a starter relay).
A few here from E-Bay Click
Notice I went for the free shipping (allow 6 weeks) just un-click the box (bottom left corner) if you want UK suppliers.

You can also test the solenoid by joining the two larger terminals on the solenoid with a spanner, just make sure its out of gear and the brakes locked on (or facing against the wall), as those Honda's are mad to start.

Arrive yesterday morning In a funny looking brown paper jiffy bag with a few Chinese markings, was £12 cheaper that a UK supplier for the same part. Have taken geni parts from a similar company but took about 10 days.
