Absolutely agree. Pro use in a proper hoof trim crush only. Can take a lot of hoof away in a blink of an eye.I do not recommend it for learning on or with a chute that doesn’t firmly hold the cows foot.
Same here, does the job in a poor crush when needed, most trimming contracted out, mostly just pre dry off.I use the knobbly brass disk type.
I second this. Blunt down on wood when you first get it but it’s pretty safe as Blade’s aren’t on the side and not too aggressiveI use this one and find it very good.
If glued on well the wooden ones will stay on until they wear through or are removed.I guess the second part of the question I should have asked is what type of blocks and glue does everyone recommend
A wooden block will last approx 1month and rubber 3mths ?
