We just used the original fan, new motor and coupling.Did you modify the existing fan with a motor or did you find a new fan? Looks a cracking bit of kit though!!

Can you share details of motor and coupling, looking to do the same pto delete! CheersWe just used the original fan, new motor and coupling.
Ok will do, I'll get the details first. Can you share details of motor and coupling, looking to do the same pto delete! Cheers
I'm also interested in fan modification. Have you done away with the rear harrow and covering discs? I hate the discs but feel they are there for a reason!Ok will do, I'll get the details first.
Our drill never came with the covering discs and we have retained the following Harrow, but we have changed the configuration.I'm also interested in fan modification. Have you done away with the rear harrow and covering discs? I hate the discs but feel they are there for a reason!
Are you using it in cultivated ground or direct into stubble ?I'm also interested in fan modification. Have you done away with the rear harrow and covering discs? I hate the discs but feel they are there for a reason!
Mainly into stubble, I want to set up drill as simple as possible for cover crop sowing in between harvesting, we are missing out on valuable growing time at present. I do cultivate where necessary an drill using Horsch but main cash crop drill is a 750a. Would be interested to explore covering tine set up. Are you thinking a swept tine would work or straight type like following harrow? Are you using it in cultivated ground or direct into stubble ?
I am going straight into stubble so have removed the discs as they only do the last row of openers and am working on a row of tines between the last row of openers and tyres, and one after the tyres.

Watching with interest. Are you planning on updating the rear wheel axles? Looks like you still have the white plastic wear block system.
I’ve just changed bushes and bolts which go through the white blocks, it’s made a big difference.I have the awful white plastic wear blocks on my 2005 Sprinter, lots of wheel flopping about and a big to remove wheels to replace bearings or mend punctures. What can one do to update the axles?
Found this axle upgrade on Horsch parts, £435 each, that buys alot of bolts, bushes and plastic wear blocks!I have the awful white plastic wear blocks on my 2005 Sprinter, lots of wheel flopping about and a big to remove wheels to replace bearings or mend punctures. And does it let you remove an individual wheel?Found this axle upgrade on Horsch parts, £435 each, that buys alot of bolts, bushes and plastic wear blocks!

Don’t personally know as haven’t upgraded, I believe @Clive CO has them fitted so should be able to answerAnd does it let you remove an individual wheel?
Looking at growing cover crops and wondered why you use the Horsch for covers and not the 750aMainly into stubble, I want to set up drill as simple as possible for cover crop sowing in between harvesting, we are missing out on valuable growing time at present. Horsch is wider and not worried about extra soil disturbance it creates, in fact prefer it to get more volunteers and weed seeds to germinate. Less wearing parts on Horsch and simpler for non regular drill man to operateLooking at growing cover crops and wondered why you use the Horsch for covers and not the 750a

Have you got the dry fert on this yet? Any other updates? I’ve just fitted a slug pelleter to my sprinter and had all sorts of fun and games getting it into the airstream without back pressure appearing…!Been playing again.
Now fitted a Harrow between openers and rear tyres. Recycled JD parts.View attachment 917347View attachment 917348View attachment 917349
