This is all I get at switch on, non of the buttons work, any ideas? Tried new power lead.

You have my sympathy. These boxes can be a nightmare. We were told low voltage can be an issue so wired it back to the battery directly with decent size cable which made no difference. We have found a lot of issues can occur with the connectors on the boxes and also on the drill itself. Your issue looks more like the box itself locking up. Sending it to David King might help.
Horsch rep recently admitted these boxes were a lot of trouble and had converted many to the newer type box (for about £3k iirc). Have threatened to try to convert ours to land wheel drive / accord metering many times.
