Exactly. On the off chance it beeps and stops seeding that's exactly what I do Rarely happens though.

I must admit coming from a freeflow I initially went to float in work but found my Sprinty quite often wouldn’t lift at the ends without working spool up, down and up again. Weird. As soon as I stopped going to float in the field and let it spring back to neutral it’s been working 100% of the time. I think the back pressure was somehow holding the solenoid closed so it wouldn’t lift until the oil pressure was equalised the other side. I can’t personally see the need to be in float since it sits on ram wedges and doesn’t ‘float’ at all. The work switch could be a reason as above but I’m yet to experience a failure. In response to OP; lose the Duetts and fit pretty much any other coulter designed for the Sprinter my fave is metcalfe (pic) but your bourghalt/Dutch are more akin to your Duetts

Yep will be drilling spring beans direct with mine and as above have done dd wheat. Apparently the 2019 onwards seed tubes are more bean-friendly on the metcalfe. Time will tell.
