Not looking but interested if any on here has come across pony ploughs? (Obvious;y, a smaller version of a horse plough!). I have occasionally seen them in farm sales but find it difficult to believe ponies were used much for ploughing.

Saw one ox yoke sold at a farm sale in Aberdeenshire many years ago but I think they were mostly made of wood so biodegradable and would have rotted away.

This facet of history was probably not recorded as noboby thought it important.
