I have a 3 ph Cleanwell. Very pleased with it. I would avoid cheaper mass produced crap as that is what you get. I've had 2 Kranzle and each lasted less than 2 years, we are not heavy users either. Ertle much better, but only cold so now demoted to pig unit.

Is this the nihon pressure washer you have it looks good

Mines older. Only cost £1400 but maybe 10 years ago now?

Only 11 litres per minute and 60deg

But that's the new version yes.

So long as you put a 16amp blue plug on it. Make sure to dump pressure in lance before switching on it's a good tool.

Even better if you ditch the lance and fit a twin one.

There not the most sophisticated of machines by any means but that's what I like about it!

Sounds good but what do you mean by twin lance

Sounds good but what do you mean by twin lance

something like this

Allows you to adjust the pressure easier with out stopping and faffing about with unscrewing the nozzle which inevitably will be covered in greae and sh1t.

Also if you add in a quick coupler at the gun you can then have assorts of different lances to hand , like a straight one, a 90 deg bent one, a pencil jet one etc etc The only thing YOU MUST NOT DO with a nixon is change the actual size of the nozzle a this will change the flow and will affect the temp. if you run a smaller nozzle the machine will overheat and there is no cut out for overheating so it just turned to pure steam!

Edit sorry first link was wrong type lance, this is a twin lance.

i dont think there is anything that dosent break down at some point but all in all i cant complain about the service any of them have gave me.
the coil will eventually go in them but your a long way down the line when it dose, in the grand scheme of things a new one isnt wild dear if it dose.
in the 20 years of having a few of them here iirc all i ever needed was a reed plunger switch type thing in one that met its maker but that was only because i didnt drain it one frosty night so it was my fault and a coil once that i got as lucky as a cut cat with and the pin hole was on the outside coil, i welded it up and it went on trouble free for 8 mths until i sold it on but it was maybe 8 or 9 yrs old at that stage.

when it came to replacing them i bought the same brand again, if they were that much trouble i wouldn't of.
but thats only my experience, others may differ.

Yea it’s funny how opinions differ as I wouldn,t have a Karcher in a present, where I used to work we sold some fairly troublesome I always thought and too complicated maybe they are better now but I doubt it. Nixon is a good simple machine which has been faultless for me and cleanwell is also a fairly simple machine

No mention of Nilfisk either?
we have a Nilfisk Neptune, I’ll have to get the model when I get to the yard. Runs on a 13A socket, 80-90* temp, cant remember L/min but more than adequate. Will be about 5 years old now and no problems.
Couple of things to remove with hot water pressure washers is, don’t run them out of water and always turn the heat off and run cold through them before you turn off, it helps to protect the heater system.

We have a Nixon, biggest single phase they do.
Nice simple machine I can easily fix. Only complaints are it's either cold or full heat, and chemical only goes on at low pressure, but I knew that when I bought it, and that's why it's a simple machine.

Been very good mostly. Came unstuck when the coil for the spark in the boiler went and that took out the control box too. The new ones are different and they couldn't source one to fit mine.
Eventually Google to the rescue and I bought two(got a spare) in Spain!

Had a Kew which was a great tool, then a Nilfisk Alto, which was a bloody pain of a thing, the heat side was a disaster, spent most of the time washing with cold, couldn't recommend.

After me singing the praises of Nixon it has let me down ??? motor for burner not running so no heat,,,bugger need to investigate but at least I know it’s not an obsolete circuit board that’s wrong as there is none!!!

Previously had a karcher. Work of the devil unreliable and expensive on parts. Had a Landy for about 3 years and been great so far. Simple machine and delivered and installed too. Nixon would have been second choice.
